I got my NS enlistment notification last tuesday. Heres an extract-

You are hereby required under section 10 of the Enlistment Act (Cap 93), to report for enlistment

On - 08 SEP 2006 (FRI) AT 8.00 AM.

To - 30 SINGAPORE COMBAT ENGINEERS (30SCE)

AS YOU DID NOT ATTAIN THE REQUIRED NAPFA TEST STANDARD, YOU WILL BE ATTENDING A 4-WEEKS PHYSICAL TRAINING PHRASE PROGRAMME FOLLOWED BY 9-WEEKS BASIC MILITARY TRAINING.

Wow great, i live in Tampines and got posted to Jurong =( i mean there are other engineering camps in seletar and nee soon area which i would gladly enlist to. And its going to be a stay in unit, meaning i only get to book out once a week for my 2 whole years. Can't go out too often and flirt anymore.. haha. I've decided to name my rifle 'Stephy or Stephanie' whatever.. haha.

I heard from almost everyone that being in engineers, the training quite xiong. Being in Jurong camp, welfare almost non-existant, Jurong camp looking pretty rundown. Woah.. crap man
