Application Lost?
I'm afraid that my application through DAE might be Lost or Overlooked by RP's staff.
Most of the last group of people waiting have been informed via mail that the waiting list is extended by a week. But i've yet to receive such an email after waiting the whole day. Some gut feeling tells me this does not bode well.
I would really be angry and fustrated if my application is really lost due to their negligence. In fact if by tomorrow we receive no reply from RP, my mom is going down with me to RP to check things out. If really its due to their negligence that i'm denied admission, we decided to go see the PAP MP during meet the peoples session on monday night, to request them to write up a formal complain letter.
I feel that i'm going to fall sick soon, i have not been eating and sleeping well. In fact i only slept a few hours last night, and which each passing day fewer and fewer hours. My life is in total wreck now, i've not been eating also, totally no appetite at all. I hope to get over this ordeal quickly and move on.
Btw, i've just receive a letter today from NP that my appeal has been rejected.
Pending Application
Today is the 3rd matriculation for RP!!
I'm like along with the last few others that are still awaiting our posting outcome!!!! Its so stressful that i've not been eating and sleeping well. The only can seek consolation in that fact that i'm still on the waiting list.
Some of the last few people in our waiting group have already received their email informing them of the rejection. While others have already gotten their call from RP telling them to go down for matriculation today.
Today also happen to be the last day for RP's notebook computer road show. If i do get in i'm not sure if i might get the notebook at a discounted price.
I called the RP @ one stop centre they told me to WAIT for reply wait for phone call wait for outcome.
At this rate i'm going to miss the orientation and successful computing course if i do get in... :(

Ok so after reading several comments on the RP's web forum. I'm definately panicking!
Rumours that those still pending are on waiting list has been comfirmed by me. I went directly down to RP's new woodlands campus this morning around 11am. Took bus 168 opp UOB building/century square. 30mins reached woodlands interchange.. which is fast lor.
RP's new campus certainly looks promising. Futuristic sleek silver design incorporating modern architecture elements, pretty sexy. Took me about 10 mins to walk from interchange to RP, and 70% of the way there was a sheltered walkway. The campus overall is still U/C about 75% built and the auditorium is still U/C, the carpark is built but exterior unfinished. You can clearly see construction cranes and equiptment lying around. The RP one stop centre (Head Office) still reek of fresh paint smell.
The 3rd admission excercise will be conducted this friday. God! Help me.

I'm in deep shit!
1) I receive my rejection email from TP saying my appeal had failed
2) I checked my DAE on NYP's site and found out that my DAE and appeal had failed (receive the letter 2 days later)
3) NP haven't sent me any letter nor email but its pretty obvious isn't it.
Only REPUBLIC POLYTECHNIC remains.
From what i know, i'm probably still in the race but i dare not be too optimistic. Since those that have been rejected had already got their email. This period of waiting and tension is nerve-wrecking and tearing me up!
But everybody seems to be applying for that same IT course in RP, i read that in RP's admission forums. At least i find some comfort in knowing that my application is still pending, but who knows? The crappy letter of rejection maybe on its way now. I do hope i receive by either monday or tuesday my THICK matriculation package. If not "woah" !
So i know its coming within this 3 day period. Since 2nd registration is about 7th april.
But then the NYP rejection was really a slap in the face. I was stunned for about half a day before i remembered that there was still RP, just that there is almost no hope.
